Leonard Kenneth Dandurand, 61, of Sioux City died at home and was found Saturday, March 19, 2011. 

A celebration of his life will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the senior citizens center in North Sioux City.

He was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Sioux City to Leonard Fred and Katherine (Zook) Dandurand. He attended Sacred Heart elementary school and graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 1968. 

Ken was employed at Stone Container for more than 20 years and at Cloverleaf Cold Storage at the time of his death. 

Ken was an avid WWE fan. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, two granddaughters and two sisters. His love of fishing was shared with his rescued dog, Zoey, who was his constant companion. Ken was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He will be missed ... He's gone fishing. 

He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Bear and USS Iwo Jima during the Vietnam War. 

Survivors include his daughter, Bridget King, and her husband, Allen, of Sioux City; two granddaughters, Annisa and Rylee; two sisters, Lynda Mueller of Sioux City and Carolyn Knecht of McCook Lake, S.D.; one niece; special niece, Cari Sonney; four nephews; aunt, Rose Rowe of Arlington, Texas; and special cousin, Sonya Lambert and her husband, Robert, of Bloomington, Minn. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City.
