Deborah Rose Klein, 56, formerly of Sioux City died Monday, April 30, 2007, at her residence in Omaha following a three years struggle with cancer.

Services will be Saturday at All Saints Episcopal Church in Omaha. Her cremains will be placed in the Columberium at the church.

Deborah Rose Moore was born June 22, 1950, in Sioux City, the daughter of Robert and Rose Moore. She graduated from Heelan High School in 1968 and from St. Vincent's School of Nursing in 1971.

She married Carl E. Klein at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sioux City on Aug. 7, 1971. They made their home in Sioux City until moving to Omaha in the fall of 1972. She began her career in nursing at Bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital, which is now the Nebraska Medical Center. She continued there until recently, working as much as possible while undergoing chemotherapy.

She was an active member of her church, belonged to the women's group and was a member of the bell choir.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Klein of Omaha; a daughter and her husband, Christi and Peter Bradley of Omaha; three brothers and their families, Douglas and Sharon Moore of Grand Prairie, Texas, Charles and Sharie Moore of Spokane, Wash., and Kenneth and Maria Moore of Austin, Texas; her mother-in-law and brother-in-law, Carmen Klein and Eric Klein, both of Lawton, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and a many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Rose Moore of Bangs, Texas; and her father-in-law, Oskar Klein of Lawton, Iowa.

Debbie was loved by everyone who knew her and will be sorely missed.
