Michael E. Arkfeld, 53, of Omaha died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001 at Hospice House in Omaha.

Services will be 10 a.m. today (August 17, 2001) at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church in Omaha.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Omaha.  Arrangements are under the direction of Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Culter Mortuaries in Omaha.

Mr. Arkfeld was a 28-year employee of United Parcel Service and a Vietnam War veteran.

Survivors include four brothers, Larry Arkfeld of Eureka, CA, Jim Arkfeld of Los Banos, CA, Frank Arkfeld of Flower Mound, TX, and Gary Miller of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice House or Mary Our Queen Catholic Church in Omaha.
